Come Around 04:37
Follow a dream and life ain't what it seems it's hard to believe that you can't know it all when life is a stage and we're all living plays where will you be when the curtain falls? When you're tired of living life on the line come and take a walk with me when you can't pretend that everything is fine you'll make it [Chorus] Hey, follow me down; the river sits just outside of town if you're looking for things that you haven't found hey, follow me down; not everything lies on solid ground and maybe you'll find if you come around it'll come around When life is a thrill but all against your will a moment to breathe can help to ease those blues one minute you're fine, the next you're doing time paying the fees on someone else's dues And in the evening when the lamps are burning high and the oil's running low just call my name and take a walk outside you'll make it [Chorus] Hey, follow me down; the river sits just outside of town if you're looking for things that you haven't found hey, follow me down; not everything lies on solid ground and maybe you'll find if you come around it'll come around Don't waste your time working so hard for your survival [Chorus] Hey, follow me down; the river sits just outside of town if you're looking for things that you haven't found hey, follow me down; not everything lies on solid ground and maybe you'll find if you come around it'll come around

If you could see me now would you tell me that you love me? Would you bless the sky above me and the ground beneath my feet just to tell me the world you missed me in your broken words so sweet or let my heart to linger in some hole in the deep? If you could see me now would you cry a little ocean shedding tears of your devotion to the bottom of your cheeks where growing pains like morning rains will lie upon your peaks and look out onto these waters where this heart of mine will sleep? It's been too long now for our love to cast a shadow; growing old, without a doubt you know its hard to even say if these finger painting promises'll carry me away off into your loving arms or just some jealous sea to stay. If you could see me now would you stop the world to love me? Would you press yourself upon me just to make you feel complete and tell the world you kissed me in your broken words so sweet or let my heart to linger in some hole in the deep?

Early morning kisser, she's singing like the robins in my dawn On my neck at every word, the early bird to get the worm will soon be gone when the silence on her wings flutters down in pretty pictures on my lawn Sing on and on and on like the dew fell in the morning, she'll drift without a warning and be gone see the daylight break when every breath I hope to take will linger on She's a lover like a cigarette, a fix enough to get me through the day well, in panoramic scenes of city lights and broken dreams, yeah, she's the rain come to cool down my july, though my shirt might be dry these humble arms will never be the same Sing on and on and on like the dew fell in the morning, she'll drift without a warning and be gone see the daylight break when every breath I hope to take will linger on Well, she'll shiver in the window until the sunlight lays like diamonds on her face shadows line across her skin to map the places that we've been and since replaced by broken hearted covers always lost to novel lovers but why let this supple body go to waste? Sing on and on and on like the dew fell in the morning, she'll drift without a warning and be gone see the daylight break when every breath I hope to take will linger on Early morning kisser, she's singing like the robins in my dawn

When the rose pedal rips on your fingertips fade away when the glimmering scenes of aquamarine turn to grey here's to you and all the things that you do. Let it go wild you sumptuous child, that's the way you've waited for years, let the Taitenger tears dissipate here's to you and all you've been through that's just rolling around in your head all the rage in those leather bound cages that hold you in stead one more drink and i'm headed to bed You cast around themes of silver spoon dreams, that's the way and wait for a sign so your glamour can shine, that's the way here's to you and all you've been through that's just rolling around in your head read it all on your paperback faces guess I'm whose mislead this time i saw myself clearer, with every line here's to you and I'm doing just fine

Shule Agra 01:17
Here I sit on Buttermilk Hill Who can blame me crying my fill? All my tears have turned a 'mil Johnny's gone for a soldier I sold my flax and I sold me meal to buy my love a sword steel that it in battle he may wield Johnny's gone for a soldier Shule, shule, shule agra time can only heal my woe since the lad from my heart did go Johnny's gone for a soldier

No shadows on my face; the whispering sun's so high no sun could never rest my weary eyes 'cause in my dying place that tore the green earth dry the buzzard bells are ringing in my skies. I heard December's song and sang with every breath; I stoked my fiery lungs 'til none was left but now my hearth is gone with ash in long supply just empty out my embers as I die but when i'm gone, don't you miss me when I reach that pearly gate just lay me down in my burying ground before I reach my fate Cause I'm my dying place, 'tis better in July then all the days of winter passed me by Now, if I were a farmer I'd bid my cattle roam and graze the ivory fields my winter'd sewn And if I were an oil man i'd let my tankers cry until the smokestacks warm my innards dry

There is a place over yonder where we might wander at last where fields of green and lilac trees have blossomed in the past There is no burden or woe to cast our skies to grey I've found a place over yonder and there I'm headed to stay The courtyard blisters like springtime in rare and verdant bloom and florals kiss every season in an aromatic plume no autumn leaves ever wither, no winter frigid or fray I've found this place over yonder, and there I'm headed to stay My body was a temple, my heart it was a shrine where these priests have since forgotten this congregation line their words like dust in the window and gather on every pew until my days over yonder when this body is through

I can hear his fields a turning angel dust to tumbleweed burying nickels in the backyard while he's digging for the dream little girls upon the mountain lighting fire on the stream and suffocating in the moonlight while his fingers start to bleed They said "Oh, my brother! Cast no blame. Wait on judgement day." Now dirty crows and politicians singing down in Union Square Slinging rhymes about south land, knew a few but not from where when there turned a congregation Gideon's bell became to chime and those wings began a thumping to his hammer beating time They said "Oh, my brother! Cast no blame. Wait on judgement day." When Reverend Martin kicked the table with fire on his breath and we passed another bottle till we ain't seen nothing left well, I called to my Hosannah in the good old fashioned way but he was shooting down the river while his people ran astray They said "Oh, my brother! Cast no blame. Wait on judgement day."
